January 15, 2017, an ordinance was passed requiring all public places in Portland to turn Captions on all the times. This is a huge accomplishment when I was a nobody at the time. I take this in pride and honor to have this opportunity to make changes. I thrive to continue in accessibility reform for the future of Portland.
